Privacy Policy
What we collect, and what we don’t.
Plain language, no surprises.
Last updated September 12, 2026. This policy covers grabthatcall.com and the phone line we operate for our own business. Your own receptionist, once built, runs in your account under your own settings.
Who we are
Grab That Call is an AI receptionist setup and implementation service based in Des Moines, Iowa. You can reach us at hello@grabthatcall.com.
What we collect
When you contact us
If you fill out a form or email us, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, business name, industry, and whatever you write about your situation. We use it to reply to you and to prepare for a consultation. Nothing more.
When you call our line
Our own phone line is answered by an AI receptionist. Calls to that line may be recorded and transcribed so the system can respond accurately and so we can improve it. The receptionist tells you this at the start of the call. If you would rather not be recorded, email us instead.
When you book a consultation
Booking runs through Google’s appointment scheduling. Google collects the name, email, and any details you enter when you book, and shares them with us so we can hold the appointment.
When you visit this site
This site uses Cloudflare’s privacy-first web analytics, which measures page views and traffic sources without cookies and without building a profile of you. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
What we do not collect
- We do not ask for or want Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, bank details, or health information through this site or our phone line.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone.
- We do not use your information to train any AI model of our own.
Your clients’ data
This is the part that matters most if you hire us. When we build a receptionist for your business, it runs inside an account that you create and own. Your recordings, transcripts, caller information, and messages live in your account, under your control and your retention settings.
We do not keep copies of your recordings, transcripts, or caller information outside your own systems, except briefly when it is genuinely needed for testing or paid support work. Anything we touch for that purpose is deleted once the work is done. Our access to your account is collaborator or temporary admin access that you can revoke at any time.
Services we rely on
Running this business means using a few outside services, each of which has its own privacy practices:
- Our AI voice platform provider, which processes calls to our own demo line.
- Google Workspace, for our email, and Google Calendar, for consultation booking.
- Cloudflare, for website hosting and privacy-first analytics.
We share only what those services need in order to work. We do not push your information to anyone else.
How long we keep things
- Inquiries and consultation notes: kept while we’re in touch and for up to two years afterward, so we have context if you come back.
- Recordings and transcripts from our own demo line: kept up to 90 days, then deleted.
- Client project records and invoices: kept as long as required for tax and business records.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@grabthatcall.com and we’ll take care of it, normally within 30 days. If you’ve been emailing with us and want us to stop, say so and we will.
Children
This is a service for businesses. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be called out rather than slipped in quietly.
Questions
Email hello@grabthatcall.com and we’ll get back to you, normally by the end of the next business day.
