Terms of Service
What you’re getting, and what you’re not.
The rules of the road, written to be read.
Last updated September 12, 2026. These terms cover use of grabthatcall.com. Paid work is governed by the written proposal or agreement you sign, which takes priority over anything on this page.
Who you’re dealing with
Grab That Call is an AI receptionist setup and implementation service based in Des Moines, Iowa. In these terms, “we” and “us” means Grab That Call, and “you” means the person or business using this site or hiring us.
What we actually do
We are a setup and implementation service. We configure, test, and hand off AI receptionists that run on third-party platforms. To be clear about what that is not:
- We are not a telephone carrier and we do not provide phone service.
- We do not resell software, minutes, or platform subscriptions.
- We do not own or hold your account, your number, or your data at any point.
You contract directly with the platform provider and the carrier. Their terms, their pricing, and their uptime are between you and them.
Your account and your billing
You create your own platform account and add your own payment method. We build and test using collaborator or temporary admin access that you grant and can revoke. You are responsible for the charges on your own account, including call minutes and number fees.
What’s included in a setup
Your written proposal lists exactly what’s included. Across all setups:
- Live testing with you before anything is exposed to real callers.
- Written sign-off from you before your receptionist goes live.
- A 30-day correction window after launch, described below.
- A quick-start guide covering how to run and change what we built.
The 30-day correction window
For 30 days after launch, we fix genuine setup defects at no charge. A setup defect means something we configured does not work the way the approved proposal said it would.
It does not cover new features, changes to your business information or hours, added call paths, platform outages or price changes, or a decision to take the receptionist in a different direction. Those are welcome, they’re just billed as new work at the rate quoted at the time.
What we need from you
- Accurate business information: hours, services, pricing if it’s quoted on calls, and how you want callers handled.
- Timely review and written approval before launch.
- Any consents or disclosures your industry or state requires for recorded calls.
- Not to use what we build for anything unlawful, deceptive, or in violation of the platform’s own rules.
If the information you give us is wrong, the receptionist will repeat it faithfully. Please check it.
Call recording is your responsibility
Recording laws vary by state and by industry, and some of your callers may be in states with stricter rules than Iowa. We will configure the disclosures you ask for, but deciding what your business is legally required to disclose, and whether to record at all, is your call and your responsibility. If you handle health, financial, or legal information, get proper advice before going live.
No guaranteed outcome
AI receptionists misunderstand callers sometimes. They can mishear a name, miss a nuance, or fail during a platform outage. We build and test carefully, but we cannot promise a specific booking rate, capture rate, revenue result, or that every call will be handled perfectly. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of results.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to our work is limited to the amount you paid us for that specific setup. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or other indirect or consequential damages, including anything arising from platform outages, carrier problems, or how a caller was handled.
This website
The content here is for general information. We try to keep it accurate but do not warrant that it is complete or current. The site, its copy, its design, and the Grab That Call name and logo belong to us and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Cancelling
Cancellation and refund terms for paid work are set out in your written proposal. If you cancel a setup in progress, you are responsible for work already completed. Because you own your account and everything in it, cancelling our involvement never disables what has already been built for you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Polk County, Iowa.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Changes here do not alter a signed agreement already in place.
